Dennis purchased these neon stripes a few years ago and wanted to know the names of the shape and coloration. He speculated that they were blown by Corning in Wellsboro, Pennsylvania and decorated by George Franke in Baltimore, Maryland.
Shiny Brite called them mushrooms, George Franke called them spiral shapes which are depicted in the 1959 catalog posted on the website. I like Dennis’s neon moniker which makes his bulbs George Franke Spiral Shaped Neon bulbs from the 1960s.
