Sam and Bill in Florida have been ornament rescuers since 1985. They want to know if their Shiny Brite bell is rare. When I saw Sam’s photo I immediately thought of the Empire State Building Lobby in New York City. The gold and the lines just seem to be inspired by the lobby. Even before seeing a picture of the cap, I knew it was a Shiny Brite because the stripe colors are identical to the ones on a bell I own. I think Sam’s bell was an early effort by Shiny Brite to make a hammer top finish bell. A stunning ornament.
