Steve recently acquired a ball ornament that is gold, wired wrapped, with red glass beads on the bottom, with tinsel and sequins around the top circling the cap which is marked Shiny Brite. He’s concerned that the unusual Shiny Brite is a case of a cap swap.

I think Steve has a family heirloom created from a Shiny Brite bulb. It was all the rage in the 1960s to doctor and customize plain bulbs with doo-dads and what-nots. 

I would cherish it for the sentiment.
